TileStyle supplied over 1000sqm of Italian floor and wall tiles for this award winning office building in the heart of Dublin's docklands. Winning first place in the RIAI 2022 Public Choice Award, 10-12 Hanover Quay has been praised as "an excellent example of how historic fabric can be retained in a sensitive and imaginative way". While forming part of a contemporary project "it retains historical essence and contributes to the sense of place and the industrial aesthetic of the Docklands". The development boasts superb waterfront views with several entrances and has a variety of spaces including a roof terrace and large open plan areas.
The Challenge for TileStyle: O'Mahony Pike Architects first approached TileStyle in 2018. Their brief was to provide an aesthetic to compliment the existing historic warehouse while meeting the technical requirements of anti-slip and LRVs (light reflective values) for a commercial building.
TileStyle's Professional Services team worked closely with O'Mahony Pike and MOLA architects to achieve this outcome.
