THE OLD DALKEY FORGE tucked away in the heart of Dalkey Village is the site of one of TileStyle's most recently completed projects. Our Premium Homes team collaborated with Jackie Greene Construction on this luxury, secluded development of six stunning properties offering high specification homes in coastal Dublin.
The team from Jackie Greene Construction initially met with Jacqueline Walsh, TileStyle's Head of Premium Homes in our showroom to discuss their objectives for the project. Highly experienced in upmarket fitouts, they had very specific guidelines for the interior finishes. They had a hands-on approach and knew what would work for this luxury project but were equally open to guidance from our Premium Homes team on the best products to suit their brief.
THE DEVELOPMENT consists of six luxury homes in a private courtyard setting within walking distance to Dalkey Village.

THE BRIEF TO TILESTYLE was to propose a comprehensive and cohesive interiors solution across all six properties to include; kitchens, bathrooms and flooring creating a sense of timeless luxury with a light and airy feel. The requirement was for premium quality brands with robust products to appeal to the high end customer. Central to the brief was the selection of complementary finishes to work across both the new build contemporary homes and the original buildings. A turnkey solution with one single point of contact was an important requirement for Jackie Green Construction on this development.
The completed interiors feature a combination of contemporary and Shaker style kitchens from Porcelanosa with Xtone worksurfaces. Porcelanosa tiled flooring is featured throughout the ground floor and downstairs WC areas with Kahrs wood flooring in the living areas and bedrooms. Porcelanosa sanitary ware and tiles feature in the bathrooms with stylish LED mood lighting.

THE OVERALL INTERIOR FINISHES work seamlessly throughout the development successfully achieving the client brief. With selected neutral tones cleverly complementing both the modern new build homes and the existing features and forge stonework of the original coach houses and cottage.
