The latest project from our Premium Homes team has recently been completed in Malahide, Co Dublin. A stylish and elegant renovation where TileStyle's Premium Homes team provided a bespoke, project co-ordinated solution for the clients.
The TileStyle team - Jacqueline Walsh, our Head of Premium Homes managed the project, working closely with the client's main contractor. Initially creating 3D images and finally preparing a full technical schedule of products for the contractor's team.
The client approach and what they wanted to achieve - As a busy professional couple the clients wanted one point of contact, someone who would project manage the complete renovation under one roof. They wanted help with product specification and selection for the whole interior across tiles, bathrooms, kitchen, wood flooring and furnishings.
The TileStyle Brief - With a strong sense of what they liked, the clients gave a detailed design brief to create a modern and contemporary look to complement the style of the existing property. Ultimately they wanted a hands off approach and were happy to hand the project over to our Premium Homes team once the brief was clearly communicated and 3D images were signed off. The main element of the brief was to create a luxurious family home with space for entertaining.
Living and Dining Combined for Entertaining - The original wall between the kitchen and dining area was demolished, creating one large area for dining and relaxing. Our kitchen design team created a peninsula kitchen layout to maximise on space for entertaining with family and friends. The stunning Porcelanosa kitchen is from the Residence range and features Orobico Dark polished Xtone worksurfaces.
Large format Bottega Caliza floor tiles from Porcelanosa run throughout the hall, kitchen and dining areas in this elegant home. The anti-slip version continues into the beautifully landscaped garden creating cohesion from the inside out. Contemporary furniture featured in the kitchen, dining and living areas is from Porcelanosa.
The main living room features contemporary furniture from Porcelanosa with wood floors from Kahrs. The same wood floor finish is carried through to the upstairs landing area and bedrooms creating a seamless look and feel throughout the home.
Bathrooms - the property's three upstairs bathrooms and guest bathroom downstairs all feature sanitary ware, tiles and accessories from our leading brands Porcelanosa and JTP.
The guest bathroom was previously dated and underwhelming and has been transformed into a vibrant and classic space.
The original main bathroom was re-configured, removing a bath to create a spacious walk-in shower.
Master Ensuite
Originally two bedrooms, the master bedroom was re-configured as one large bedroom to include a new ensuite with luxurious free standing bath and spacious walk-in shower.
