Step Inside This Incredible Family Home in the Heart of Ballsbridge

This exquisite period home in Ballsbridge is like nothing you’ve ever seen before and is a true testament to what award-winning architect Declan O’ Donnell and the team at ODKM Architects can create and achieve.

With a listed building such as this, there is a lot to consider when protecting the original architectural elements and characteristics whilst also modernising it. Declan and his team have certainly achieved that and much, much more.

At TileStyle we were delighted to supply all the tiles and bathware for this inspiring and other-worldly project.

Family Bathroom

The main family bathroom encapsulates the essence of a luxurious spa and features a number of elegant and statement pieces including an impressive matt grey freestanding vessel bathtub.

A Tint of Luxury - Smokey Tinted Glass Panels

The sleek glass shower panels in a smoky tint are not only stylish but act in a functional manner by creating a room separator for the rain shower room and the toilet area within the bathroom.

Shimmering blue mosaic tiles clad the entirety of this very unique and playful wetroom sanctuary. Have you ever seen anything like it?! Just look at those curves in the doorway entrance. It’s giving us all the “Alice in Wonderland” feels!

The brushed gold shower and basin tap are perfectly complimentary of the reflective gold flecks in the mosaics. A sleek white Krion Modul basin by Porcelanosa sits atop the mosaic clad shelf.

The Master Ensuite

The master ensuite is something unlike anything we’ve ever seen done before and separated into three individual parts. Off the master bedroom is a large dressing room and beyond that sits a double basin and vanity beneath the most beautiful windows setting.

To the left of the vanity area you have a shower cubicle and to the right you have a separate WC cubicle area featuring our very contemporary matt black Cielo toilet.

The large format tile slab “Urbatek Premium Savage Dark” by Porcelanosa is seen used on the main floor area and in both cubicle settings on walls and floors.

The hallway tiles are our “Coffee Stone” tumbled mosaics and work in harmony with the protected Victorian interior elements such as the stunning ceiling cornicing, plaster work and archways.

A Home In A League Of It’s Own

The overall aesthetic of this home is just so unique, it’s in a complete league of it’s own. There are so many exciting and surprising elements in the design, again, testament to the team at ODKM.

Using their architectural prowess, design expertise, creative & imaginative know-how with a clever focus on functionality, Declan and the team at ODKM have really designed a dream home unlike any other.
