We stock and display a large range of hardwood engineered and Linnea laminate type wood floors, in various finishes from matt lacquer to satin lacquer to oiled finishes, combining 1 Strip, 2 strips and 3 strips, thus offering a huge selection of options. Finishes include stained, brushed, bevelled and hand scraped. The 7mm, 14mm and 15mm are put together by means of a woodloc joint thereby making it less likely to bow,warp or buckle during changes of temperature. This method also makes it very easy and quick to fit and no glue is required, thereby saving costs. Engineered hardwood floors are ideal for use with underfloor heating systems as they are more stable than traditional solid timber floors. The other key benefit of hardwood engineered boards is their ability to remain constant throughout the year, significantly reducing the appearance of gaps frequently seen with solid wood planks.

For commercial projects there is the Kahrs sports activity hardwood floor range, which is kind to your joints unlike synthetic floors which do not give under powerful movements. Kahrs activity wood flooring have absorption materials and reinforcements which are fitted to the underside of the board while the patented wood loc system provides perfect joints between the boards. The result is an even surface with optimal shock protection, thus counteracting injuries.  These wood floors can be easily and quickly fitted directly on any suitable flat sub floor without time consuming and complicated construction.  Available in Oak, Beech and Maple, all are very aesthetically pleasing. Total thickness of 30mm gives very low construction height and the 3.6mm wear layer can be sanded back. Already installed in dance studios, aerobic studios, gymnasiums and school sports halls, this range has received much praise from athletes all around the world.
