Job title: Contracts Sales Executive
Purpose of role:
As part of an experienced contract flooring and specification sales team within TileStyle, the primary purpose is to develop sales of ceramic tiles, bathrooms, natural stone and hardwood flooring within the Irish market through a combination of developing specifications, project tracking and developing active projects.

We have an exceptional team who have significant experience and are highly motivated to deliver excellence to all our customers and contractors. Our showrooms and logistics facility is based in Ballymount just off the M50 in Dublin and the showroom is in excess of 50,000 square feet.
Main tasks: Ranked by importance
1. Develop and increase sales of the 4 core products (Tiles, Bathrooms, Wood and Stone) within TileStyle to the specification and commercial sectors which include Architects, Interior Designers, Quantity Surveyors and Building, Flooring and Plumbing Contractors.
2. Continuously track the various stages of construction projects through an agreed CRM system.
3. Provide best in class customer service and follow up active projects whilst working effectively and efficiently with the TileStyle related teams.
4. Assist in carrying out the company's policies and procedures in relation to Health, Welfare & Safety and HR standard operating procedures.
Scope of the role:
This is an important role within the contracts team of TileStyle, with the achievement of agreed sales and margin targets critical to the ongoing success of the company. A key element within the Irish Construction industry is the residential refurbishment sector and part of this role will require working closely with the TileStyle retail team to maximise all sales opportunities in this area.
Skills: Professional contract and specification selling skills with a clear focus on balancing sales and gross margin. Effective planning and time management skills are essential. Problem solving and resolution skills linked with the ability to work effectively using personal initiative and the support of the wider team. Full drivers licence. Good literacy, writing and presentation skills along with competent levels of IT, experience with a computerised sales, stock and quotation system along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar packages.
Knowledge: A current working knowledge and understanding of the Irish specification and contracting market within the flooring and bathroom markets will be required. Knowledge of floor and wall coverings including ceramics, natural stone, hardwood flooring and bathrooms. The ideal candidate will have experience across all these elements but in-depth knowledge of one will be considered.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years experience within a professional flooring and bathrooms specification/contract sales environment with exposure to complex and involved sales processes where significant proactive interaction with customers is required.
Attitudes: Enthusiastic personality with a proactive attitude to developing client/customer relationships along with high levels of self motivation. Ability to work unsupervised. The role will involve travel within Ireland including overnight travel.
Remuneration Package: Competitive salary based on experience plus a performance based bonus. There will be a six month probationary period. References and medical check up will be required.
